Charter

  • Reserve an entire boat for you and your private group
  • Can charter a boat for anywhere from 1 person to the maximum listed for the boat
  • Can be the length of a ½ Day trip to a 2 ½ Day trip

  • ½ Day Trip
    - 20-25lb test 2-4oz sinker size 1.0 and 2.0 hooks
  • ¾ Day Local Trip
    -  20-25lb test 2-6oz sinker size 1.0 hooks
  • ¾ Day Island Trip
    -  25-30lb test 2-6oz sinker size 1.0, 2.0 hooks yo-yo jigs or surface iron
  • Overnight Trip
    -  25-40lb test 1.0, 2.0 hooks (you may want trolling gear as well)
    -  Fluorocarbon works well with bluefin tuna and albacore

Lobster Hoopnetting

  • Passengers have an opportunity to buy a ticket which includes the use of a lobster hoopnet, bait, and a gauge
  • Passengers can buy 1-5 tickets to use up to 5 hoops
  • Hoops are dropped and periodically pulled throughout the night from 7pm – 1am
  • All short lobsters are released, legal crabs and lobsters are kept
  • Full galley service is available aboard the boat where hot and cold, beverages and food may be purchased for reasonable prices.

Half-Day Charter Info

  • Half day trips fish the coast line from Imperial Beach to Point Loma kelp beds, according to what’s biting. Depending on the season, you can hope to catch a variety of fish including calico bass, sand bass, mackerel and a variety of rock fish.
  • Price includes boat ride, live bait with captain and crew.
  • Additional costs are: rod rental, CA fishing license which is required for any passenger 16 or over.
  • Full galley service is available aboard the boat where hot and cold, beverages and food may be purchased for reasonable prices.
  • Hours: 6:30am-12:30pm or 1:00pm-6:00pm

¾ Day Info

  • Three quarter day trips are taken either fishing local kelp beds along the coast or the Coronado Islands. Depending on the season, you can hope to catch a variety of fish including calico bass, sand bass, barracuda, bonito, mackerel, a variety of rock fish, and the occasional yellowtail.
  • Price includes boat ride, live bait with captain and crew.
  • Additional costs are: rod rental, CA or Mexican fishing license is required for any passenger 16 or over, depending on where you fish which one you will need
  • Full galley service is available aboard the boat where hot and cold, beverages and food may be purchased for reasonable prices.
  • Hours: 6:00am – 5:00pm

Multiple Day Info

  • Day and a half: Depart 9 or 10pm, Returns 6am the second morning
    -  Roughly 6 additional hours of fishing than an overnight trip
    -  Range: up to 135 miles
  • 2 Day: Depart 9 or 10 pm, Returns 6pm second day
    -  1st day fish from daylight until dark; 2nd day fish from daylight until 1pm
    -  Range: up to 150 miles
  • 2 and a half day: Depart 9 or 10pm, Returns 6am on the third morning
    -  First 2 days: fish from daylight until dark
    -  Range: up to 150 miles
